Cambados Wine Tourism project
Elegant, aromatic and fruity, this is what Albariño “the golden prince of wines”, is like. An Atlantic wine that combines the land and sea of the Rias Baixas and improves when you look at it, smell it, taste it, …
Over time, creating a wine culture with its own name, the work of hundreds of entrepreneurs and winemakers have given international fame to this wine with a golden colour and fresh notes that pairs so well with seafood and the garden produce from Cambados. An ambassador around which an economic fabric has been created that draws the visitor through wine tourism. Cambados is the capital of Albariño! It is during our Festival, in the first weekend of August, when each year the best Albariño of the world is chosen.
Any time of year is good to get to know this territory and get close to the culture of Albariño. There are many options! You can visit the wineries that are part of the Wine Route of the Rias Baixas, wander through the streets of the historic Cambados and seek and scan with your smartphone 15 QR codes placed in points of interest or browse our website enoturismo.cambados.es.
Cambados Wine Tourism is a platform to promote wine tourism promoted by the Town Council of Cambados, and financed with European funds through theGrupo de Desarrollo Local – GDR Salnés. It aims to boost wine culture as a tourist attraction of interest to this territory and its environment.
